The 49th State’s Denali brewpub is located 10 miles from the entrance to Denali National Park. As the only brewpub in Denali, you won’t find a fresher craft beer in town! Otto Lake/Otto Lake Park
Otto Lake is one of the most popular recreations spots in the Healy area. Locals enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and swimming. Most of this lake is very shallow, so boaters need to take care. There is a small park operated and maintained by the Healy Valley Lions Club, and the park includes Rainbow Trout Fishing, a Boat Launch, Beach Recreation Area, Playground, Day Picnic Area with tables and BBQs, Covered Pavilion, Summer Outhouses & Dumpster Services

Local hiking and ATV riding near the Healy Coal Mine and Healy Creek, this area is a popular spot for outdoor recreation and seasonal hunting.

The Boardwalk Mall
Located down in “Glitter Gulch” or “The Canyon”, there are over 20 stores, gift shops, restaurants/cafes, and tour companies available for a fun local shopping experience.

Antler Creek Trailhead
A USFS-developed trail in partnership with the Denali Borough, this is one of the most popular trails in the area that offers both access and challenge. Designed as a standard terra trail for hikers and walkers, there is a 1-mile accessible loop, which will branch off as it starts to climb the ridge, branch off with 1 mile of trail on Borough land then continue for 2.5 miles up to Black Diamond Peak, just shy of the wilderness boundary of Denali National Park

Bike Denali
DISCOVER DENALI ON TWO WHEELS!!! Choose from a 4-hour or 8-hour Front Country e-bike package to enjoy the 32-mile round trip ride to Savage River and back and enjoy activities along the paved portion of the Park Road near the entrance. Our Back Country e-bike package options range from 12 to 72 hours. These e-bikes allow exploration deeper into the park can be transported on transit or shuttle buses.

Black Diamond Covered Wagon Adventure
This custom-built Covered Wagon Ride is pulled by two beautiful Draft horses. Your tour begins at Black Diamond Resort: you will travel north to a beautiful mountain lake with panoramic mountain views! From here you have a chance to stretch your legs before getting onto the wagon. The relaxing ride out to our pavilion takes about 45 minutes. Denali Fly Fishing Guides
Denali Fly Fishing Guides has been operating guided and fully outfitted fly-fishing tours since 2003. We are Alaskan owned and operated and employ five full time guides experienced in all aspects of backcountry fishing and travel. Denali Fly Fishing Guides offer scheduled fly-fishing trips into the Alaska backcountry. All tours are based out of Cantwell, Alaska approximately 30 minutes from Denali Park lodges. Roundtrip transportation, light weight gear, flies, hip waders, guide and instruction are all included in the trip price. We are in search of our native Arctic Grayling. All fishing is catch and release on guide made barbless hooks.

Denali Jeep Excursions & Rentals
Once the gateway to Denali National Park, the Denali Highway is a 135-mile gravel road surrounded by pristine nature & is a photographer’s paradise. Snow-capped mountains, icy glaciers & panoramic vistas flank the Denali Highway. During your guided & narrated 100+ mile round trip excursion, there are opportunities to see Denali & wildlife (both weather permitting). New, 4-door, 4×4 Jeeps hug the dirt road, while comfortably seating four adults who can trade off driving. Each Jeep has a CB radio for communicating with the guide so stops can be made whenever desired. Snacks & drinks provided.

Fly Denali
Let Fly Denali take you on the ONLY scenic flight offered from the Denali National Park entrance area that lets you land on one of Denali’s (Mt. McKinley’s) pristine glaciers! Depart from the Healy River Airport right on the outskirts of the national park and make way along the scenic and ever-changing Alaska Range. Experience 100 minutes of flight time over the beautiful Denali National Park and witness sights that you can only see by airplane. Planes provide interactive headsets allowing your pilot to narrate your tour and answer questions. Fly Denali can offer incredible views of various glaciers and mountain peaks, ultimately landing on a glacier just miles from the base of North America’s highest peak. Flights depart at: 8:30am, noon, 3:15pm and 6:15pm from May 10th to September 15th.

Music of Denali Dinner Theatre
A family-style roadhouse is the backdrop for a side-splitting musical comedy about the first men to reach the summit of Denali (formerly Mt. McKinley). The evening begins with a family-style dinner featuring Alaskan salmon, smokehouse BBQ, hearty mashed potatoes and house-baked apple crisp for dessert. Come hungry because this delicious spread is all-you-can-eat. Northern Epics – Guided Hiking and Rafting Trips
We are a guided hiking company operating both inside and outside the park. We operate tours ranging in length from 3 hours to 12 hours with a focus on education about the Park’s ecology, geology, history, and much more. We have a high standard for safety, requiring all of our guides to be certified Wilderness First Responders and to carry GPS and SOS devices on every hike. We also seek to give back, donating 5% of our net profits towards conservation in the areas we guide.

Healy Farmers Market
Saturdays from 10am-2pm. Beginning June 24-September 2nd. Enjoy a family friendly outdoor farmers market and craft fair. A dozen vendors featuring fresh produce, baked goods and local artisans. Denali Grown will be selling a variety of organic produce in season, homemade jams and jellies as well as t-shirts, ball caps and hoodies.

Blueberry Festival at Otto Lake
First weekend in August, this annual festival is hosted by the Denali Chamber of Commerce and held at Otto Lake Park and hosts live music, games and activities, a beer garden and food.

Moose Scat Scoot – Half Marathon, 5K in Denali National Park
The annual Moose Scat Scoot is a 1/2 marathon, 5k, or 1.5 mile fun run that you can run, walk or bike! There are family friendly activities to participate in before your run or during the event while you wait to cheer on participants crossing the finish line! The race takes place inside Denali National Park, and the start and finish of the race is Riley Creek Campground.
